Start time: 9.45 am

Admission cost:
£14.00 each

Tel: 01268 491540

We have permission and local guides to lead a group of birdwatchers onto the island. Foulness is known for its rarities and very large flocks of waders at their high tide roost and is said to be among the best birdwatching sites in England. We should see marsh harrier, shorteared owl, sparrowhawk, and peregrine. We will be driven to prime birdwatching spots during the morning, then after lunch in the Heritage Centre, off to view the high tide roosts.
