DISABILITY SPORT EVENTS – MISSION STATEMENT.
Disability Sport Events will develop, support & encourage people with disabilities to participate in sport.
One of DSE’s main OBJECTIVES:
Provide opportunities for people with disabilities to participate in and enjoy sport and recreation, in accordance with their own wishes………….

WHO & WHAT IS DSE?

DISABILITY SPORT EVENTS is a Registered Charity -
Charity No 297035.
DSE is completely 'self' financed throught donations, sponsorship and fund raising events. It's finances are administered by the English Federation of Disability Sport (EFDS).
DSE's main saurce of sponsorship is from the NATIONWIDE, who have pledged funding for the development of Swimming and Athletics as a way forward towards the 2012 London Paralmpic Games.
It's National Head Office is based in Manchester.
Members of staff are:

National Regions Co-ordinator - Garry Hyndman
Marketing & Communications officer -
Sarah Marl
and Administration & Finance Officer -
Mbali Mbonambi.
Within the organision of DSE there are Ten Sporting Regions plus Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
Each region is run by volunteer Sporting Co-ordinators/Team Managers
