Forthcoming events
|
|
|
GEMS meets regularly on alternate Fridays evenings, from 8pm, across south Essex at various venues hosted by the members themselves.
Social events are held in Basildon, Benfleet, Grays, Hullbridge, Leigh on Sea, Shoeburyness and Southend on Sea.
Events planned for 2008 include themed Friday socials, winter coffee mornings, theatre trips, barbeques and parties.
Special events planned are a visit to Bruges, Belgium in September, the annual trip to stock up on duty-free ready for Christmas.
In December 2007, GEMS celebrated TEN years.
