Southend Disabled Sports Club
Southend Disabled Sports Club is a place which promotes active sports for people with a variety of disabilities, between the ages of 18 - 70.

Indoor sports and games are played both summer and winter and outdoor sports in the summer.

During the summer months the club visits other disabled sports centres for fun days, where sports are played competitively for medals and trophies. Throughout the year the club members compete with each other and at Christmas the ' Champions ' are awarded medals and trophies.

The club meets every Friday evening, between 7.30 and 9.30 at the Rochway Centre in Rochford, and it is always on the lookout for new members regardless of disability.
We do have a minibus to take people to the centre, however seats are limited.

We are also looking for volunteers to help out at the club and volunteer drivers to drive the minibus.

This club gives disabled people the opportunity to meet with others on a weekly basis for a time of socialising, companionship and fun.
There is a raffle each week, refreshment time, notice time and it runs it's own newsletter.
