Age Concern is the United Kingdom’s leading independent charitable movement, concerned with the well-being of older people.
As a caring organisation, we are committed to the effective promotion and delivery of good quality services and products to enable people to get the most out of later life.
Age Concern Colchester is an independent local charity and exists to enhance the quality of life for older people in the Borough of Colchester
Being a member of the federation of Age Concern we address this aim in four ways:
1. Providing direct services to older people and those individuals and organisations which support them.
2. Campaigning for a better deal for older people.
3. Working in partnership with statutory and voluntary bodies who share this aim.
4. Identifying innovative ways to address new and changing needs and acting upon them.
