Friends of Bocking Windmill

Bocking Windmill is a postmill dating from 1721. It is complete both externally and internally, and has been preserved for the benefit of present and future generations.

The Friends of Bocking Windmill have the following objectives:-
To promote public interest in the mill, and to facilitate access to it.
To work in close co-operation with the owners (Braintree District Council) in order to ensure the preservation of the mill as an important part of our heritage.
To develop the mill as a museum.
To restore as much of the original machinery and equipment as possible.
To raise funds in support of the above objectives.
