All CARERS, regardless of age, sex or circumstances, will feel the need for help at some time or other. It may be that the Carer feels isolated and/or anxious or simply does not know who to ask for advice.
The Maldon Carers Centre may be able to help.
Regular Respite for Carers is provided at our Day Centre, where the cared-for person is looked after and assisted by our trained staff.
What is the cared-for person offered?
. A welcoming and homely atmosphere
. Full support from our trained staff
. Social interaction with other members
. A varied programme of activities
. Lunch and refreshments at reasonable cost
. Disabled access throughout Day Centre
. Transport to/from Centre if needed (subject to availability)
