Castle Methodist Church - Colchester Castle's Mission Statement is, "Castle Methodist Church is Christ Centred in its worship and witness, striving to express through development and practice Christ's relevance to Colchester". The Church is a member of Churches Together in Central Colchester and also has a Covenant of Co-operation with the Anglican Church of St. Botolph, located in St Botolph's Church Walk, off Queen Street Colchester. A number of joint services and events are held. Castle Methodist Church is located in Maidenburgh Street Colchester. The best way to find it is to stand in the grounds of the Norman castle, located at the lower end of High Street, looking at the front entrance of the castle. Immediately to the left, just outside the castle grounds, is the Castle Methodist Church. The Church can be entered either from the castle side entrance or by passing alongside the church to the front entrance in Maidenburgh Street.
