PSP (parents supporting parents)
PSP stands for parents supporting parents. We are a group which offers help and advice to the parents of special needs children.PSP began life in february 2002 and was formed by the parent of a child with Aspergers Syndrome. She felt there was a gap in the provision for support in the Harwich and Tendring area of Essex.
We are a very friendly bunch who meet every friday morning
from 9.45 until 11.45(during term time) in THE COMMUNITY ROOMS AT HARWICH COUNTY PRIMARY SCHOOL, BARRACK LANE, DOVERCOURT. We offer advice, moral support and on occassions a shoulder to cry on.
We can access a wealth of information from experiences past and present and have an understanding of the difficulties and problems that can occur when raising a child with special needs.
