SORRY SUPPORT GROUP IS NOT RUNNING AT THE MOMENT
I AM SORRY TO SAY THAT THE SUPPORT GROUP COVERING SOUTHEND-BASILDON AND THURROCK HAS HAD TO BE SUSPENDED UNTILL WE CAN FIND A FEW PEOPLE TO TAKE THE GROUP ON. I HAVE HAD TO RESIGN FOR HEALTH AND FAMILY MATTERS AND CANNOT RUN IT ON MY OWN. OUR OTHER NAMED CONTACTS HAVE ALSO HAD TO RESIGN. WE ARE VERY SORRY TO HAVE TO CLOSE, BUT WE ARE HOPEFUL SOMEONE WILL COME ALONG AND SAY THEY WILL TAKE OVER THE RUNNING OF A NEW GROUP.

Hi my name is Ann I am a mother of a son aged 16 years, who has Tourette Syndrome, along with ADHD, Aspergers and Learning Difficulties, and is in a special school.
I started this group with the support of Dr Puvanendran Consultant Paedriatrician(CCH) at the Childrens Centre Basildon Hospital along with Lindsay and Shirley who are also parents of Tourette children.
We are a self help support group for Parents and Carers of children and Adults that have Tourettes.
It is the aim of the support group to help any parent or carer with a child or family member with Tourettes. We hold alternate monthly meetings at Basildon and Grays to be able to share our worries and concerns together.
Please note that we are only a voluntary group so we will be charging £1 per adult £2.00 when we have a speaker to cover the cost of support meetings and post.
